We are a new mental health clinic seeking therapists / counselors throughout Hawai‘i to join our team to serve Maui community members. Our clinic provides individual and family-centered, evidence-based interventions focused on improving clinical symptoms and functioning for persons of all ages to develop to their highest potential.

Compensation is competitive, and flexible.
Compensation is $40 - $60 per hour, depending on job type (part-time, full-time, or contract), and experience.

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday (excluding holidays)

Work location is flexible!
If you are in person, our office is located in Wailuku, Maui.
If you prefer tele-health, you have the option to work remotely. We encourage applicants from all islands.

Job Purpose: To serve our Maui community in providing much needed mental health services consisting of mental health assessment and diagnosis, collaborative treatment planning, evidence-based psychotherapy, treatment progress monitoring, and discharge/transition planning.

Primary Function: To provide mental health clinical services, including mental health assessment and diagnosis, as well as individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy to individuals served by the clinic.

Secondary Function: To assist clinic leadership with the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring of the clinic's programs, services, and activities, as well as providing mentoring and clinical oversight and consultation within scope of practice to non-licensed clinical staff as applicable.


To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

  • 1. Hold a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology.

  • 2. Have completed the necessary required hours of post-graduate supervision and other requirements as needed for state of Hawaii licensure and possess a current license in the state of Hawaii as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist.

OR

  • 2. Meet the requirements for pre-licensure (pending required clinical supervision hours) and obtain a license issued by the State of Hawaii within two years from the date of appointment as a Mental Health Professional.
